What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be a tough experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Lighthouse Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful preaching and teaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcomed and "at home!" Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect during your first visit.

We look forward to having you attend our morning worship service where you will enjoy God honoring music. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Michael James. The service is one hour in length. During the 10:00 am hour we offer Bible Classes for all ages. These classes are meant to help you grow in your knowledge and understanding of the Bible and are catered to every stage of life. The best way to get to know the people of Lighthouse Baptist Church is to attend one of our Bible Classes.

  • How should I dress?

There is no dress code at Lighthouse Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional Sunday dress. However, our main goal is for you to feel welcome and comfortable during your visit.

  • Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. We do not invite you to church for your offering. Our services are designed to be a blessing to you. We hope to show you a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and  provide a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
